Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Cleira processes personal data when you visit our website, use the free in-browser gender pay gap analyzer, contact us, or use our paid services. We are committed to processing personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national law.
Who we are
Unidian SRL ("Cleira", "we", "us") is a company registered in Romania under company registration number J12/2024/2002, with its registered office at Str. Venus 25/31, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. VAT number: RO14958217. You can contact us at [email protected].

The free in-browser analyzer
The free gender pay gap analysis on our website runs entirely in your browser. Any CSV or workforce data you load is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. We do not receive, see or retain the salary data you analyse with the free tool.
Personal data we process
- Contact / demo enquiries: name, work email, company, company size, your message and whether you are interested in paid plans.
- Paid-service customer data: account user details (names, business email addresses, roles) and the workforce/HR data your organisation uploads, which may include pay, gender, job category, seniority and similar fields. For this data your organisation is the controller and Cleira acts as processor (see our Data Processing Agreement).
- Technical data: limited request data such as IP address and security challenge tokens used to protect our forms (via Cloudflare Turnstile) and to operate the site securely.
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that does not track individuals across sites and does not set advertising cookies. See our Cookie Notice.
Why we process it, and our legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Responding to enquiries and arranging demos | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) / steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Providing the paid service to customers | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Securing our website and preventing abuse | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Complying with legal obligations | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
Where the workforce data processed in the paid service includes special-category data, your organisation is responsible for identifying an appropriate condition under Article 9 GDPR for that processing.
Hosting and international transfers
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.) and served via its global content delivery network; Cloudflare acts as a processor under its data-processing terms, including European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfer outside the EEA. The website itself does not store the personal data you submit beyond transmitting your enquiry to us by email. Our paid product services, when launched, will be hosted on EU-based infrastructure; the provider and region will be set out here and in our Data Processing Agreement at that time. We aim to keep personal data within the EU/EEA and, where any transfer outside the EEA is necessary, rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period, then delete or anonymise it. Customer account and workforce data are retained for the term of the contract and the period set out in the DPA, subject to your organisation's configurable retention settings, and are then deleted or returned.
Your rights
Subject to conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected] or [email protected]. If you are a worker whose data your employer has uploaded, please contact your employer (the controller) in the first instance.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
